We may collect information you provide when you:
- Submit a membership application or join a chapter or category waitlist

- Purchase or maintain a membership
- Send, receive, or update a referral
- Record business value, ROI, attendance, or Connector Meeting activity
- Invite a guest, respond to an invitation, or attend a chapter meeting
- Contact BTC, request support, or communicate with chapter leadership
- Upload or submit documents, profile images, resources, or other content
This information may include your name, business name, email address, phone number, website, city, state, chapter, business category, referral source, business description, ideal referral, current business ask, profile information, membership history, and communications with BTC.
Payment Information
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers, including Stripe. BTC may receive transaction details such as payment status, billing contact information, customer and subscription identifiers, invoice information, and limited payment-method details. BTC does not store full payment-card numbers or card security codes.
Platform and Activity Information
When you use the BTC website or member platform, we may collect account activity, login records, chapter and membership context, form submissions, email-delivery status, invitation and RSVP activity, attendance records, referral and ROI activity, and records needed to administer memberships and preserve historical reporting.
Technical Information, Cookies, and Analytics
Our website and service providers may automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring website, date and time of access, and interactions with the site. We use cookies and similar technologies to support login sessions, security, preferences, form operation, performance, and analytics.

- Other authenticated members: Member profile and business information may appear in the member directory and chapter-related areas according to account permissions.
- Chapter leaders and authorized administrators: Application, membership, attendance, guest, and chapter information may be available to authorized people who need it to support the applicable chapter or membership.
- Referral participants: Referral information is available to the members involved and authorized BTC administrators according to platform permissions.
- Service providers: Hosting, email, payment, analytics, security, file storage, and other providers may process information on our behalf.
- Legal and safety recipients: We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect BTC, our members, users, or others.

BTC does not sell personal information to advertisers.
Guest Information
Members may provide guest contact information so BTC can send meeting invitations and related communications. Members should provide guest information only when they have a reasonable basis to do so. Guests may decline invitations or request that BTC stop sending future invitations.
Communications
BTC may send transactional and service-related emails concerning applications, payments, account access, memberships, chapters, meetings, referrals, invitations, security, and support. Some communications are necessary to provide the membership or platform service. Where available, optional communications may be managed through the provided preference or unsubscribe options.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain membership and payment records, preserve referral, ROI, attendance, and historical reporting, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements. Cancellation or account closure does not necessarily require deletion of historical business records that BTC is permitted or required to retain.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet transmission, website, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your Choices and Rights
You may update certain account and profile information through the BTC member platform. You may also contact BTC to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, subject to identity verification and any legal, contractual, administrative, security, or record-retention requirements. Embedded Content and Third-Party Services
BTC pages may include embedded videos, maps, calendars, documents, payment tools, or links to third-party websites. Those third parties may collect information under their own privacy policies. BTC is not responsible for third-party privacy practices.
Children’s Privacy
BTC is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
